News from the 31.10.2006 Zurich Film Prize
The Council of the City of Zurich has this year awarded the Zurich Film Prize to GOING PRIVATE (Nachbeben) (20'000 Swiss Francs). Werenfels’ film is an atmospherically dense depiction of the mores of a stratum of society, a stratum which thanks to the New Economy achieved wealth fast but paid for its upward mobility with a loss of human relationships. |
